The work is technical and complex but our approach is simple.

We work with you to understand your project’s needs, create bespoke solutions and efficiently deliver the best fire protection services, on time and on budget. B&K Fire Protection has been accredited to FIRAS for over 20 years and continues to meet the stringent requirements of the third party auditing processes.

Our highly experienced team work collaboratively with both clients and contractors from the initial design stages, specification and budget right through to the final installation, inspection and certification - however complex the project.

We have teams who can undertake complicated remedial works projects. Where an existing building has been taken by a new client, or a remedial firestopping survey has been carried out, the client is often presented with a complex list of defects, which require rectification in order to meet building compliance. Whilst full compliance is hard to achieve, our teams are able to undertake both the initial surveys and then present a fully costed report on the remedial works required.

On completion of the works the client can be presented with a fully documented certificate of completion, which can then be incorporated into future maintenance inspections and the site O&M manuals.

As members of the British Safety Council, rigorous adherence to safety requirements is ingrained in everything we do. Our principal managers are SMSTS qualified and we are Safe Contractor registered. Our teams are all FIRAS trained with SSSTS trained site supervisors, to comply with not only our own high standards, as set out in our B&K Fire Protection Safety Manual but also to the Main Contractor’s safety requirements.
