We adhere to the highest standards of fire safety throughout the life of a project, and beyond.
Beginning at the pre-bid and bid process and encompassing planning stages, installation and third party accreditation, B&K Fire Protection is fully accredited in all aspects of passive fire protection.
During installation, we strictly comply with construction site safety regulations as set out in GE700 and always provide full contract documentation, Completion Certificate and a comprehensive O&M Manual.
Safety & compliance standards: our principal project managers hold SMSTS certification and our site supervisors hold SSSTS qualifications.
ISO 9001: we are accredited in the Quality Management System, ISO 9001: 2015 which audits our corporate governance, business resilience and how we continue to improve our working methods.
We are Safe Contractor registered, demonstrating our commitment to best practice beyond health and safety.
FIRAS: we are a FIRAS registered installer of passive fire protection solutions. We are also FIRAS approved for fire door installation and maintenance
Constructionline Gold Member approved, meaning we go above and beyond the PAS 91 requirements .
FDIS: Our certified inspectors can carry out on-site inspections of installed fire doors in existing or new buildings, which is an essential part of any fire risk assessment required by law.
NAFDI: Our team of fully qualified fire door inspectors are NAFDI qualified. The National Association of Fire Door Inspectors (NAFDI) is the UK’s national fire door inspection organisation.
